Listed below are sample menus to tempt you .. Our menus are constantly changing to take advantage of locally sourced, seasonal foods. All of our food at The Craw Inn is cooked by Ben, chef proprietor, and is sourced as locally as possible. We cook almost everything from scratch and in house, offering guests a wide selection of tastes and flavours.

STARTERS

  • Homemade soup of the day with warm crusty bread and butter (gluten free available)
  • Haddock and king prawn fishcake with sweet chilli dipping sauce and dressed leaves
  • Italian pork meatballs in a rich Napoli tomato sauce, topped with fresh rocket and Parmesan cheese
  • Crispy fried whitebait with homemade tartare sauce and a wedge of lemon
  • Caprese salad – marinated sliced tomato with torn buffalo mozzarella, fresh basil and extra virgin olive oil (v) (gluten free)

MAIN COURSES

  • Cajun spiced whole chicken breast burger with jalepeno peppers, fresh coriander and lime chilli mayonnaise. Served on a toasted brioche bun. With crispy skin-on fries and beer battered onion rings (gluten free available)
  • Fresh haddock fillet in a crispy beer batter made with cask ale (half the size fish from our regular menu but still a substantial meal). Served with homemade chunky chips, tartare sauce and mushy peas (gluten free available)
  • Risotto Zucca – creamy butternut squash risotto finished with garlic butter and crushed arametti biscuits (v)
  • Falafel burger with fresh coriander, salad, pickles and fresh mint mayonnaise. Served on a toasted bun. With crispy fries and beer battered onion rings (v) (gluten free available)
